About me

My name is Thomas Seidl and I'm a Drupalista. I was born in 1987 in Vienna, Austria, where I still live and work as a Drupal freelancer.

I've been involved in Drupal development since 2007. In this time I first worked mostly with the Apachesolr module before I created my own search module, the Search API, in 2010. I've participated as a student in four Google Summers of Code (2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011) and twice as a mentor.

Apart from Drupal I've got a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor in Engineering Physics. I enjoy playing soccer and tennis, and – how could it be otherwise? – video games. I also like reading a lot, with Douglas Adams and Jasper Fforde being my all-time favorite authors.
